We’ve partnered with change-makers across healthcare, fitness and mental wellbeing to design for this future. From emotional wellbeing platforms to digital coaches and preventative health tools, we’ve seen firsthand how technology can unlock new possibilities for people and brands alike.

Here are five trends shaping the next wave of digital wellness and how we’ve been building at the forefront.

1. Personalisation and AI-powered coaching

Consumers increasingly expect wellness experiences tailored to their physiology, goals and habits. AI is making that possible, delivering support that feels human, even when it’s not.

We explored this space with RUBY, a worklife digital wellness coach we created for Glassmoon Group.

RUBY supports emotional wellbeing in the workplace, offering personalised guidance based on users’ mood, needs and daily challenges. Built with empathy and intelligence, it’s a new kind of coach, one that helps people feel seen, supported, and in control.

From mental health chatbots like Woebot to custom fitness apps like Zing Coach, AI is helping users build sustainable habits, one personalised interaction at a time.

2. Wearables and biometrics go mainstream

Smart rings, watches, patches, and even clothing now offer real-time insights into everything from stress and HRV to blood glucose and sleep cycles. Products like WHOOP, Oura and Levels are empowering people to take charge of their health in ways that were once only possible in a clinical setting.

Our collaboration with the NHS Digital has brought this vision to life at scale. We’ve helped reimagine how health data could be surfaced in more intuitive, human-first ways, enabling users to better understand and act on their wellbeing.

3. Tech for the mind 

The rise in demand for mental health support has fuelled a surge in digital mindfulness and therapy tools. From Headspace and Calm to Breathwrk and AI-driven CBT tools, users are turning to tech for emotional resilience, stress management and sleep support.

Through our work with Kooth and Soluna, a leading provider of digital mental health support, we helped expand access to therapy and self-care tools for younger audiences. The focus: make mental health approachable, accessible and stigma-free — without losing depth or clinical credibility.

4. A preventative, holistic health mindset

Today’s consumers aren’t just reacting to illness, they’re actively investing in longevity, recovery, and holistic wellness. That includes everything from gut health and sleep optimisation to biohacking routines and stress tracking.

Platforms like Viome, Eight Sleep and InsideTracker show the appetite for intelligent, at-home diagnostics and optimisation tools. It’s health management, reimagined as a daily practice.

5. Gamified and social wellness ecosystems 

Wellness is no longer a solo journey. Social features, challenges and gamified progress keep users engaged and motivated, tapping into behavioural science to encourage consistency.

Think Strava leaderboards, Apple Fitness+ activity rings, or Peloton’s live class communities. These platforms blend competition with connection, turning health goals into social moments.

Digital wellness is a daily reality for millions. As expectations grow, brands need to deliver not just functionality, but empathy, intelligence and relevance.
